Week 41

Picture 282:  Fire is a good thing when you are out in the cold like we were.  It is so amazing the way it glows.
Picture 283:  It was so nice of these birds to line up so neatly.  And they did it without being paid.  It is nice that things just happen like this.
Picture 284:  Another snow storm and another hat of snow for the horse we have out front.  Not that we are ever going to be tying a horse up to this guy, but it is good to know he is ready, snow or no snow.
Picture 285:  Icicles on the neighbor's house.  We have them too, but the sun wasn't hitting them in the right way.
Picture 286:  I am not sure what the new idea is that this wagon is referring to.  It looks like a rather old idea to me.  Sit in the field and get covered with snow.  Yeah, that has been done before.
Picture 287:  Nature's way to keep warm in the winter--grow a thick coat.  Our neighbor kitty grows a thick coat and gets a nice layer of fat going for his winter attire.  You do whatever it takes, right?
Picture 288:  This was the color of the sky according to my camera.  It makes the whole picture GLOW.

Week 40

Another Week of Owen

Picture 275:  Owen is one happy kid.  He just loves mugging for the camera and putting away dishes.  He mostly just takes things out of the dishwasher and hands them to me.  Its a start anyway.

Picture 276:  This is what you do with a strainer after you take it out of the washer and put it on your head because that is what you do.  Or rather, that is what Owen does.
Picture 277:  Owen in his full glory.  He is messy.  He is sleepy.  He has shoved 2 pacifiers in his mouth because he can.  Love that Owen.
Picture 278:  Owen and Papa are taking in the snow at Charmingfare Farm in Candia.  We finally got to go on our sleigh ride.
Picture 279:  Christmas morning in the Carlson house.  Here is Owen's take on what you do  with remote control vehicles.  You pick them up, of course!
Picture 280:  Once you pick up the remote control vehicle, you have to show how much you love it.  It is just too exciting to stay quiet.
Picture 281:  So interesting! Owen at the New England Aquarium.  He has to tell people what he sees.  A FUR SEAL!
