Week 8-mostly

Picture 51: Mama's turn to take pictures of Owen in the play pen.  He is telling me "Grrrrr....ditt...ditt...ditt.."  Very important messages.

Picture 52: We had a night time visitor, a opossum, after the one snow we got this winter.  Okay, maybe we got more than 1 snow, but I sure don't remember any others.
Picture 53: Owen loves to go to other people's houses and play with their toys.  This one was fun.  We HAVE to get him something like this.
Picture 54: This is Owen's first hockey game.  He was mostly interested in the lights, the blimp that flew overhead, and the people sitting in front of us.
Picture 55: The Monarch's might be a minor league team, but they had 2 professional league fights.
Picture 56: Owen gives the women playing Irish music on violins and a guitar a thumbs up.

Picture 57: Another church door know.  This is quite the bright church door.  This one is in Manchester on Lowell Street.

Week 7

Picture 44: I am always intrigued to see an obviously old item still in use today.
Picture 45: A visit to the radio station with Owen, Uncle Hans & Auntie Lauren.   A good time was had by all.
Picture 46: Rocky is a good cat, even if he is a bit strange.  But have you ever seen a more perfect cat?  Rocky knows you haven't.

Picture 47: This eagle has been residing at the Concord Audubon Center for 17 years or so.  We saw him eat from the volunteer's hand for the first time.
Picture 48: The eagle is a wing amputee but he looks like he can still do some serious damage with those talons and that beak.
Picture 49: I REMEMBERED the book title that this picture reminds me of: The Alienist by Caleb Carr.  I never read this book it because it is adult fiction.  I just have seen the cover a bunch of times in the library.
Picture 50:  Grandma Camille comes to Concord.  Owen has lots of fun hanging out with her.

Week 6

Picture 37: A bad fire on an EXTREMELY cold day.  No one was seriously injured.
Picture 38: I think that is melted glass coming out of the window frame on the left.  Must have been an INTENSE fire.
Picture 39: This is an actual decoration in the kids section of the Fun Spot in Laconia.  Why is this for children?  Maybe they want to keep kids out of the center section.
Picture 40: The stained glass doesn't show up in the picture, but this decoration is cool enough as it is.
Picture 41: Mom likes old buildings and doesn't care who might be standing inside with a shot gun ready to shoot first and ask questions later.  This is New Hampshire after all!

Picture(s) 42: A series for this photo.  Uncle Hans plays Peek-A-Boo with Owen.  I love the face!

Picture 43: I can't go for a whole week and NOT post an Owen picture.  He is such a curious boy.  What is going on over there? No idea, but Owen will figure it out.

Week 5

Picture 30: A flying Baby Owen at our FAVORITE hangout.  If you haven't been to True Brew Barista in Concord, what the heck are you waiting for?
Picture 31: A sampling of what you can get.  Okay, the bottle isn't available with milk, but they do have a liquor license!
Picture 32: This is Owen's best skill--taking off the Papa's glasses and waving them around. It should be an Olympic sport!
Picture 33: On the way from the barista to the library.  It is amazing what neat textures exist around town.
Picture 34: This little guy was just begging me to take his picture.  (I know this item wasn't REALLY asking me to take a picture, but I can dream, right?)
Picture 35: Would you believe me if I told you this was actually at ground level and only about three inches across?  No?  Well, just go to School Street and you may find this.  Good luck!
Picture 36: This handle strikes me as the comedy mask of theater.  No idea why, it just does.

More pictures next week--we are having guests and I am taking the week off of work. I should have plenty of time and opportunity to get good pictures.
