Week 12

Picture 79:  This is Titan the Maple horse at Maple Ridge Sugar House.  He thought Owen's jacket had a wonderful bouquet.  Horses!

Picture 80:  These two maples are obviously in love.  Look at them!  So cute!  They both give sap to the efforts of the farm.
Picture 81:  Tubes, tubes Everywhere!   Maple Ridge Sugar House is the third largest maple producer in New Hampshire (I think!)  They have to get all of their information about technique from Vermont.  New Hampshire doesn't support maple research that much.
Picture 82:  My favorite pair in the woods at Maple Ridge Sugar House.   Talk about a production!  They had maple syrup, maple candy, maple sugar, maple cotton candy, maple coffee........
Picture 83:  Owen's friend, Seth, had a birthday party.  Everyone wanted a piece of him.  Seth just wanted a piece of cake.

Picture 84:  Owen is WATCHING the hockey game.  Don't even try to get him to look anywhere else.  He is INTENSE!

Picture 85:  Little Owen, before he turns one year old.  He had a fever a few days back and then got the typical Roseola rash.  Did that stop him?  No way!  He loves being outside and mugging for the camera.

Week 11

Picture 72:  In Manchester for the 40 under 40 event, this is the car parked in front of us.  They were going to see Van Halen.
Picture 73:  Spring has sprung.  This is a tree budding out in our back yard.  Go fruit tree go.
Picture 74:  Owen is precious.  Papa put his big hat on Owen.  For once, Owen just mugged for the camera instead of tearing the hat off of his head.
Picture 75:  The neighbor's cat, Sassy, is relaxing in our compost pile.  A pretty cat, not a smart one.
Picture 76:  The onions from last year have decided to grow this year.  I wonder what they will taste like.  Hmm......
Picture 77:  This pine cone conveniently fell right in the middle of the path.  The sun was at just the right angle. Thank you pine cone.  Thank you sun.
Picture 78:  This is the part of a tree stump that wouldn't go quietly.  This tree was only about 5 inches in diameter.  How are you supposed to get larger tree stumps out of the ground?

Week 10

Also known as Week Owen
Picture 65:  Owen had a fun hair day.  This is what happens when he takes a nap after taking a bath.  Looking good Owen!
Picture 66:  And if you have big hair, you have to chew on a toy. What else is there to do?
Picture 67:  Owen loves the swing, but he loves looking at people even more.
Picture 68:  Owen is a very happy baby, even when he is covered with yogurt and bananas.  I think he is especially proud of the Cheerio attached to his bib.

Picture 69:  Owen took a bath.  Papa gave him the bath.  It looks like Papa got clean too--at least his t-shirt did.
Picture 70:  Owen is pondering his swing ride.  He went back and forth and back and forth and back and forth.  You get the picture.
Picture 71:  I can't just pick one Owen picture.  I can't decide which is the best.  Owen is so gosh darned cute that all the pictures are wonderful.

Week 9

Picture 58: Owen just always seems to be thinking so much.  He takes everything in and just ponders the world.

Picture 59: I am really hoping spring comes soon.  I know winter and snow are good for the ecosystem, but I just need more green and plant life.

Picture 60: A yellow fire hydrant.  So different than a green and yellow fire hydrant.  This fire hydrant is a winter shot.  I will have to take a spring and summer one too.

Picture 61: I wish this were attached to a trailer still.  It would be so retro.  Instead, I just get the license plate.
Picture 62: Here is a picture of Rocky staring at absolutely nothing. Okay, so maybe that is what every picture of Rocky is, but this one is particularly full of nothing.

Picture 63: Owen is a sleepy fellow.  This is also yet another picture of a missing pacifier.  This is the baseball one that was lost almost as quickly as the soccer ball one we got in the same package.  Some mice somewhere are having a grand old time with a HUGE collection of pacifiers in their den.
Picture 64:  Sweet potatoes for Owen about to be frozen in silicone cupcake molds.  I think I made 20 or so of these.  You might think a sweet potato cupcake should be baked with flour and other such ingredients, but sweet potatoes are delicious anyway you cut them.
